When we began the many upgrades in our data center in February 2010, we did not have even the slightest idea of just how much work was ahead of us.
In short, what is it like to take 254 host servers/blades and over 4,800 virtual hosts and migrate all of this to an 'all' Microsoft Hosting Provider infrastructure, with full automation on all aspects - Managed Shared SharePoint, Exchange Hosted or Hosted Exchange, and enhanced Shared Web and Data Hosting? Well, we have an inkling of what it's like because we've completed the infrastructure and key software upgrades.
What does this mean to our clients? Sclera is please to let you know that we are 'finally' at the last stages of our datacenter upgrades, as wel as our Shared Hosting/Data Hostng Upgrades.
Sclera will be taking Plesk Control Panel out of the service offering permanently no later than March 2011. It has taken almost a year to not only complete the software upgrades / changes, but even longer to migrate everyone to the new Shared Web/Data Hosting plans.
